Zachary Marquez represents borrowers, lenders, developers, investors and business owners in a broad range of commercial real estate, finance and corporate transactions. His practice focuses on commercial real estate finance, capital markets and commercial lending matters, including the structuring, negotiation and closing of mortgage, mezzanine, preferred equity, construction, bridge and other complex financing arrangements.

Zach advises clients throughout the lifecycle of financing transactions, from term sheet negotiations and origination through closing, post-closing administration and secondary market execution. He regularly drafts and negotiates loan documents, intercreditor agreements, guaranties and related financing instruments, and coordinates comprehensive due diligence involving title, survey, leasing, zoning, organizational and other real estate and corporate matters.

In addition to his finance practice, Zach advises clients on commercial real estate transactions, including acquisitions, dispositions, development projects, leasing arrangements, joint ventures and entity structuring matters. He also has experience representing clients in mergers and acquisitions, corporate transactions, loan restructurings, workouts and post-closing amendments.

Drawing on his experience across real estate finance, commercial lending, real estate transactions and M&A, Zach helps clients navigate complex transactions and achieve practical business objectives.
