Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli has further expanded its Real Estate Practice and its New York office with the addition of Vasiliki Yiannoulis-Riva as a shareholder. In the past year, the New York office has welcomed five shareholders, spanning private equity, intellectual property, franchising and health care practices. Most recently, the firm added two patent prosecution shareholders in the city.

Yiannoulis-Riva is an experienced real estate attorney, focusing her practice on diverse real estate transactions and representing companies, family offices, joint ventures, funds and other investors in a variety of commercial real estate matters.

Vasiliki Yiannoulis-Riva received her B.A. cum laude from Harvard University before completing her J.D. at Georgetown University Law Center. She efficiently handles acquisition and sale transactions across various jurisdictions, guiding clients through the entire deal lifecycle. Yiannoulis-Riva is particularly adept at explaining U.S. real estate intricacies to foreign investors and supports corporate colleagues in M&A transactions. She advises clients on everyday real estate matters and has a strong track record in negotiating financing transactions. She also negotiates leases, including office, retail, shopping center, hospitality, and warehouse leases, for property owners and tenants, emphasizing long-term relationships and efficient agreements.
