Cora Blackwell supports the Commercial Real Estate Finance Department with an emphasis on assisting attorneys with title, survey, and zoning review and analysis of the transaction in the representation of commercial real estate clients.  Her responsibilities also include assistance with the training of newly hired Department associates and Real Estate Analysts.

Before joining Polsinelli, Cora worked as a Commercial Real Estate Closer (“Closer”) with a commercial real estate servicing lender in Kansas City, Missouri, which was followed by joining the staff of First American Title Company’s National Commercial Services Company to combine her experience as a Closer. She transferred her 15-year experience as a Closer to the legal field, where she honed her skills to bring them into the world of commercial real estate law and has been working in that capacity bringing her combined years of experience in commercial real estate finance to 32 years. She is skilled in assisting attorneys with the analysis of commercial real estate transactions during the closing process in their representation of developers and lenders while assisting in coordinating with third-party vendors, which include title companies, surveyors, zoning consultants and brokers toward the closing of complicated multi-million-dollar real estate transactions such as hotels, shopping centers, retail strip-centers, warehouse facilities, medical office, commercial office, mobile-home, multi-family apartment and other various types of properties to completion.
