Elias Larson has extensive experience analyzing patent claims and prosecution histories, developing invalidity, patentability and non-infringement positions, and drafting and prosecuting patent applications in a broad range of technologies in the electrical, mechanical, and computer technology fields, including tools, fishing equipment, recreational vehicle accessories, consumer cooking equipment, 3D printing devices, medical imaging devices, financial transaction processes, navigation systems, photonic devices, geographic databases, and assisted and autonomous driving systems.

Elias uses a creative approach to help protect clients' valuable intellectual property assets using utility patents, design patents, trademarks and trade secrets. If patent protection is needed, he partners with clients to draft patent applications and helps guide them through the patent prosecution process to acquire meaningful and enforceable patents. Elias also provides litigation support in patent litigation matters.

Prior to his legal career, Elias worked as a mechanical engineer, where he designed industrial systems for a variety of industries, including asphalt, roofing, construction, telecommunications, power, laser blanking and metal coil processing. This experience gave him an understanding of an inventor’s perspective when developing a product and pursuing patent prosecution.
