Genniveve Ramsey represents real estate investors, developers and operators in complex commercial real estate transactions, with a particular focus on borrower-side lending. She structures, negotiates and closes senior and subordinate loan transactions across asset classes, including retail, multifamily, office and student housing, and regularly guides clients through acquisition financings, refinancings and recapitalizations. Her work reflects a deep understanding of capital stack dynamics and the practical considerations that drive borrower outcomes in sophisticated lending environments.

In addition to her finance practice, Genniveve advises on acquisitions and dispositions, joint ventures and investment structures, aligning financing strategy with broader business objectives. Her experience spans institutional and private capital, and she regularly coordinates deal execution across lenders, equity partners and operating teams to move transactions efficiently from diligence through closing.

Genniveve previously served as Chief Legal Officer of a vertically integrated real estate investment firm, where she led legal strategy for acquisitions, dispositions, financings, leasing and joint ventures, and oversaw fund compliance and corporate matters. She began her career at Polsinelli representing global lenders in CMBS origination, securitization and servicing, experience that informs her current borrower-side perspective and approach to negotiating loan terms.
