Jeffrey Kuo focuses on aligning legal strategy with client’s broader business objectives. He guides companies in developing, managing and leveraging their intellectual property assets to support growth and long-term value.

Jeffrey prepares and prosecutes utility and design patents in the United States and abroad for clients in the medical device, advanced manufacturing, commercial product, oil and gas, space, software, life sciences and chemical sectors. His work covers innovations in biomedical and mechanical systems, including surgical tools, wearable devices, footwear, satellites, drilling systems, packaging mechanisms and drones, as well as digital technologies and chemical systems such as payment applications, machine-vision tools for manufacturing, drug-production platforms, agricultural control systems, military control systems and training technologies.

His work also includes conducting IP due diligence for mergers and acquisitions, portfolio management initiatives and IPO readiness.

Jeffrey serves as Co-Chair of Polsinelli’s API@Polsinelli Resource Group. Conversational in Mandarin Chinese, he previously interned in the Intellectual Property Legal Affairs Division of the Industrial Technology Research Institute in Hsinchu, Taiwan.
