Jonathan Kitchen advises private capital providers, sponsors and companies on complex mergers and acquisitions, private equity and growth transactions, capital reorganizations, financings and day-to-day corporate matters. He brings a business-informed perspective shaped by more than a decade of experience at a global investment firm, with a clear understanding of how legal strategy fits into decision-making and deal execution.

Jonathan advises clients across asset classes and industries, including financial services, technology, auto and commercial finance, investment management, real estate, hospitality, life sciences, health care, energy, retail, shipping and transportation equipment leasing. He helps clients navigate transactions with sector-specific insight and commercial fluency. He also has experience advising private fund managers with regard to the formation, structuring and operation of hedge funds, private equity funds, fund-of-funds, managed accounts, liquid alternatives, UCITS and special purpose vehicles.

Prior to joining Polsinelli, Jonathan served as vice chair of the private equity practice of an Am Law 100 law firm. Earlier in his career, he served as internal counsel for more than 12 years at Perella Weinberg Partners, a global independent financial services firm, where he advised senior leadership and financial advisory and investment professionals on corporate and transactional matters.
