Kevin Elkins represents clients facing litigation that can materially impact their business, including disputes with health care insurers over payment and high-stakes commercial conflicts. He focuses on guiding clients through these matters at critical inflection points, including when reimbursement is denied or underpaid, or business relationships break down. With a focus on practical solutions, he adeptly guides clients through intricate legal challenges.
Kevin’s practice focuses on health care and commercial litigation. He represents publicly traded companies, health care providers, and closely held businesses in disputes involving managed care payor issues, and complex contract and business claims. He works with clients to resolve cases at the most advantageous stage, whether through settlement, mediation, alternative dispute resolution, or trial.
Before entering private practice, Kevin served as a judicial law clerk to the Honorable Thomas W. Brothers in Tennessee’s Sixth Circuit Court, where he participated in more than 20 jury trials and numerous bench trials. He also interned for the Honorable Gary R. Wade, Chief Justice of the Tennessee Supreme Court.
