Mark A. Petry is a shareholder in the Technology Transactions and Data Privacy practice. His practice primarily focuses on new technologies and commercial transactions. He represents both emerging companies seeking to develop and commercialize new types of offerings and large established companies seeking to transform their business.

Mark advises clients through the lifecycle of developing and implementing new technologies and businesses, including financing, developing, deploying and commercializing products and services, establishing and building strategic or other relationships and programs. 

He regularly represents companies in complex business transactions involving outsourcing, development, licensing, distribution, teaming, software as a service, colocation, leasing, cloud computing and intellectual property rights, with a particular focus on new and transformational technologies or business models.

Mark has worked regularly with large global and smaller regional and niche data center companies in transforming their business and operations given recent industry and technology changes, contracting with their largest and most strategic customers on deals ranging from “edge” to “hyper-scale” deployments, and on strategic financings, acquisitions, divestitures, partnerships, and other matters. 

Mark also has worked for buyers, sellers, investors and lenders in connection with data center and other capital intensive IT infrastructure transactions. 

Mark regularly represents healthcare systems and suppliers on strategic transactions and new technologies, including with respect to digital health, artificial intelligence, predictive medicine, clinical systems, claims processing and administration and other matters.
