Matthew leverages more than 25 years of patent procurement experience to help clients develop and execute effective patent strategies. His practice includes counseling on portfolio development, preparing and prosecuting U.S. and foreign patent applications, conducting patentability analyses and supporting infringement and validity matters.

Prior to joining Polsinelli, Matthew served as a director of intellectual property for a global technology company and as a patent examiner for the U.S. Patent & Trademark Office where he analyzed hundreds of patent applications to determine the utility, novelty and patentability of inventions in the areas of high-definition television, flat-panel displays, CRTs, visual displays, illumination and discharge devices. Matthew’s experience spans a broad range of technologies, including:
