Polsinelli’s Intellectual Property Department includes the International Patent practice having a cross-functional team of patent attorneys who serve all of our clients’ needs in domestic and international patent protections and enforcements. There is no “international patent” – a single patent that protects your invention in all of the world’s countries – and each country has its own patent enforcement and registration system, which makes enforcement complicated for inventors. Our patent attorneys will guide clients through certain mechanisms and treaties that can help the clients secure as much protection as possible. Many of our patent attorneys have hands-on experience in patent prosecution, counseling, and enforcement in primary foreign governmental and judicial systems.
