Polsinelli Adds Christian Fabian in Chicago, Bolstering Private Equity M&A Capabilities

Polsinelli is pleased to announce that Christian Fabian has joined the firm's Chicago office as a shareholder in its Private Equity Mergers & Acquisitions Practice. As the sixth shareholder to join the firm’s Mergers & Acquisitions Practices this year, Fabian's arrival reflects the firm's continued growth in Chicago and nationwide amid sustained demand for strategic transactions from private equity sponsors and middle-market companies.

"Middle-market M&A activity continues to present significant opportunities for companies and investors that are prepared to move decisively," said Chase Simmons, Chairman and CEO of Polsinelli. "Christian has built a reputation for guiding clients through complex transactions with practical, business-focused advice, and his addition will deepen our ability to serve our clients in Chicago and beyond.”

Fabian brings over two decades of experience handling domestic and cross-border transactions, with a practice centered on mergers and acquisitions, private equity investments, recapitalizations, joint ventures and corporate governance matters. He has represented private equity sponsors, international businesses and founder-led companies in transactions spanning North America, Latin America and other international markets.

“Christian’s arrival reflects Polsinelli’s continued investment in the Chicago market, a firm priority and one of the country’s most dynamic business hubs,” said Kolin B. Holladay, Polsinelli’s Business Department Co-Chair. “With his experience representing companies in transactions spanning the globe, we’re better able to support clients wherever their needs are.”

Throughout his career, Fabian has advised clients across many industries including manufacturing, professional services, consumer products, food and beverage, life sciences, technology and gaming. He has also represented buyers, sellers, investors and boards of directors in transactions ranging from strategic acquisitions and divestitures to private equity investments and liquidity events.

"I am excited to join Polsinelli’s Chicago office and contribute to the firm’s collaborative and entrepreneurial culture,” Fabian said. “The firm’s strong client relationships and middle market focus provide an excellent platform for helping our clients achieve their strategic objectives.”

Fabian earned his J.D., cum laude, from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law and his bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering from Oakland University.
