Polsinelli Represents HCA Healthcare in Acquisition of 19 Urgent Care Clinics in the Carolinas
Polsinelli recently represented HCA Healthcare (HCA), one of the nation's leading health care providers, in its acquisition of 19 urgent care clinics from Urgent Care Group in North Carolina and South Carolina. HCA operates more than 180 hospitals and 2,600 outpatient sites in 19 states and the United Kingdom.
The acquisition expands HCA's presence in the Carolinas and includes the launch of the first HCA CareNow urgent care clinics in North Carolina. The transaction supports HCA's continued focus on growing its network of urgent care and other outpatient facilities that serve as key access points for patients.
The transaction reflects Polsinelli's on-going relationship with HCA. Corporate Mergers & Acquisitions Chair Chad C. Stout has advised the organization on numerous strategic transactions, including its acquisition of CMC.
