Ruben Chuquimia is a vice-chair of Polsinelli’s Securities and Corporate Finance practice group. He practices corporate and securities law, representing publicly traded companies and emerging growth companies, as well as private funds and other institutional investors. Ruben regularly counsels the companies he works with in the full range of corporate and securities matters, such as public offerings of equity and debt, SEC reporting, venture financing transactions and mergers and acquisitions. His practice also focuses on private funds, including the formation and operation of venture capital funds.

Ruben's public and private company practice includes a broad range of work, with extensive experience in the following areas:

• Public/private equity and debt offerings
• Venture transactions
• Securities compliance, disclosure matters, and other counseling for companies with publicly traded securities
• Mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, takeovers (negotiated and contested), and cross-border transactions
• Counseling boards of directors and audit committees

Ruben regularly counsel private fund managers in all private fund matters, such as:

• Venture and private equity fund formation
• Institutional investments, and portfolio company representation,
