Am Law 100 firm Polsinelli is pleased to announce that Shareholder Ruben K. Chuquimia has been named the new Office Managing Partner of the firm’s St. Louis office, effective June 1, 2023. Chuquimia is assuming the role previously held by Shareholder Jane E. Arnold, who was appointed co-chair of Polsinelli’s Business Department at the end of 2022. Chuquimia has been a shareholder at the firm for over 11 years and serves in several leadership roles across the firm, including as vice chair of the Securities and Corporate Finance Practice Group. He is also a member of the firm’s Diversity Equity & Inclusion Committee and recently completed a three-year term as a member of Polsinelli’s Board of Directors.

The Office Managing Partner role is filled by leading attorneys in Polsinelli’s 22 office locations across the country. With approximately 100 attorneys, St. Louis is Polsinelli’s third largest office, and the firm is consistently ranked as one of the largest law firms in town.

Chuquimia focuses his practice on corporate and securities law, representing publicly traded companies and emerging growth companies, as well as private funds and other institutional investors. He counsels companies in the full range of corporate and securities matters, such as public offerings of equity and debt, SEC reporting, venture financing transactions and mergers and acquisitions. His practice also focuses on private funds, including the formation and operation of venture capital funds. He has been recognized for his leadership in corporate and M&A work by Chambers USA every year since 2011 and by Best Lawyers® every year since 2012. He received his J.D. from Washington University - St. Louis School of Law and his B.A. from Duke University.
