Grant Horton counsels and represents employers in all aspects of employment litigation, and has substantial experience and success in defending against claims for wrongful termination, retaliation, discrimination, harassment, failure to accommodate and other claims.
Grant has also successfully defended numerous wage and hour actions in both state and federal court, including class actions and claims for civil penalties brought under the California Private Attorneys General Act.
In addition to defending employers in state and federal litigation, Grant has handled numerous matters brought before various state agencies by employees, including but not limited to the California Civil Rights Division, the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission and the California Labor Commissioner.
Grant also regularly advises employers on changes in the law and best practices to comply with the ever-changing landscape of employment laws and regulations, and assists employers in navigating and resolving complex issues in the workplace.
