Michael has worked in a variety of areas, including patents, trademarks, copyrights, licensing, litigation, and overall business advice and general guidance. His strategic guidance includes helping establish and maintain global intellectual property portfolios that include the acquisition, registration, maintenance, and enforcement of patents, trademark and copyrights. Throughout his career he has worked with startup companies, federal agencies, individual inventors, university/research institutions, as well as small companies and Fortune 500 companies with headquarters in the United States and abroad.

Michael’s strategic counseling includes significant time on educating executives and boards on overall intellectual property and product development. He takes the time to understand a client’s business goals and then works with the company’s senior management to develop a road map to accomplish these goals.
