Michael Longmeyer advises leading and dynamic companies in the aerospace sector on patent and trade secret strategies. The technologies he supports include satellite communications, satellite launch and deployment, spacecraft propulsion and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs or drones).
In addition to his aerospace work, Michael has secured patent protection for clients for a wide range of innovations including power generation, automatic control systems, product packaging and electronic transactions.
Prior to practicing law, Michael was an engineer for NASA at the Marshall Space Flight Center where he developed hardware and software for real-time data acquisition and control systems.
Michael also previously clerked for The Honorable Judge Raymond W. Gruender of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Eighth Circuit.
