Timothy Ayotte advises emerging growth companies and investors in life sciences and other technology-driven sectors through the full corporate lifecycle, from company formation and fundraising to strategic transactions and exits. His practice focuses on venture capital financings, mergers and acquisitions, and other complex corporate transactions. He also advises clients on day-to-day corporate governance and general business matters as they scale and navigate growth.

Timothy brings a practical, business-oriented perspective shaped by both law firm and in-house experience. Before entering private practice, he served as associate counsel at Alere Inc. (a division of Abbott Laboratories since October 2017), a global biotechnology company focused on rapid point-of-care diagnostic testing platforms, where he focused on corporate and securities matters. Prior to joining Polsinelli, Timothy worked as counsel at an Am Law 50 firm.
