A registered patent attorney with a focus on mechanical and electro-mechanical technologies, Brian regularly files utility and design patent applications with the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO), as well as international applications under the Patent Cooperation Treaty and the Hague System. He often serves as local counsel for Hague applications in which the United States is a designated jurisdiction. He also conducts freedom-to-operate, patentability, and non-infringement analyses, and enforces clients' intellectual property rights.

Brian’s trademark and brand protection practice includes branding strategy, trademark prosecution, coordination of international filings, and global portfolio management. He also resolves patent, trademark, and copyright disputes, and conducts IP due diligence for transactions.
